Last week there was quite some discussion after the New York Times wrote about a study based on experiments LinkedIn ran. The reporter seemed surprised that companies are measuring the impact of changes via controlled experiments, even while NYT is also doing that. I think it's often misunderstood that companies will always be making changes to products. Measuring the impact of those changes via experiments is a good thing.
