Last week I completed the course 'Accelerating Innovation with A/B Testing' by Ronny Kohavi. I found it very valuable to spend 10 hours in a class with Ronny and so many other experimentation minded people. Although I’m familiar with many of Ronny’s papers, presentations and ideas, I still found it really helpful to see everything presented in a well laid-out course with sufficient room for me to ask questions. Thursday's final session focused on the questions: "should you buy or build experimentation tooling?". Lukas Vermeer also joined and explained that buy vs build is a false dichotomy. The question is not whether to build or buy, but what to build and what to buy.If you want to learn more about experimentation (guardrail metrics, OEC, how to interpret results, the importance of trust, culture and much much more, consider joining this world class course by Ronny Kohavi. I highly recommend it. ps. the next cohort starts on October 31st. With this referral link you will get a $50 Amazon gift card as soon as you make a successful registration.
