Experimentation is a reasonable tax
Bullshit is cheap to produce but costly to society, as it misleads people who can't verify every claim. Experimentation helps fix this market failure by making it easier to refute false claims and riskier to make them. Still, some bullshit is useful. Simple ideas can lead to real breakthroughs. Experimentation strikes a good balance, encouraging creativity while keeping bullshit in check. >>>
