Datadog acquires Eppo
Big news from Eppo: they got acquired by Datadog. Congrats to the Eppo team. Chetan Sharma, founder and CEO of Eppo says:
With Datadog, we are uniting product analytics, feature management, AI and experimentation capabilities for businesses to reduce risk, learn quickly and ship high-quality products.
And indeed this acquisition makes a lot of sense. Experimentation will become even more a core part of building and maintaining product. Link

One of the biggest CRO agencies (100+ folks) has been acquired by Gain and is now part of a full service consultancy company offering more than CRO services. Almost three years after Widerfunnel and Conversion merged. Link

Uncertainty as Doubt
Many organisations confuse uncertainty with doubt, which leads to overconfidence. Adopting uncertainty through probabilistic thinking leads to better decisions. Link

When is it ok to have an output as a key result?
It's okay to use outputs as key results in OKRs when there's strong evidence, low risk, and high confidence that the chosen solution is the right one … but avoid relying on confidence alone. Link
